James E. Dusek, Esq.
Jim Dusek graduated from Saginaw Valley State University located in Saginaw Michigan and Cumberland Law School of Samford University located in Birmingham Alabama. Before entering law school Mr. Dusek was employed as golf professional for two years and an insurance adjuster for three.
Mr. James E. Dusek brings more than 25 years of experience that includes an entire spectrum of responsibilities from an insurance adjuster determining coverage issues to a lawyer successfully appealing a case to the Florida First District Court of Appeal that changed existing law. He has represented parties in Florida State and Federal Courts and the Department of Administrative Hearings. Cases litigated are: personal injury, workers’ compensation, Florida No Fault - personal injury protection coverage, employee/employer wage and hour disputes – state law claims and federal Fair Labor Standards Act, employment non-compete agreements, construction defects – state law claims and federal Miller Act Claims, real estate disputes, Florida motor vehicle dealer disputes, and Florida motor vehicle bond claims.
Mr. Dusek has provided mediation services through The Collins Center For Public Policy, Inc. and American Arbitration Association. In the 17th Judicial Circuit for Broward County, Florida, Mr. Dusek has been appointed as a Voluntary Trial Resolution Judge.
